STORY

Barnstormer's predecessor was founded in 1977.

At the time, Ivy League was in its heyday, but there were still not many outlets for sales, so the company was founded as a casual wear manufacturer focused on creating the same look as American-made clothing in Japan.
It is said to have been a breakthrough in finding factories and sewing machines that could sew the same way as in America, creating fabric with the same texture, and creating American traditional style made in Japan.

An import select shop selling practical American clothing has opened there.
Due to the inability to add popular imported items and the matching of supply and demand, the company took off in the 1980s and 1990s, and as Japan's first three major full-scale domestic traditional clothing manufacturers, it was known as the "barnstormer of pants," and its chinos were said to be very popular at specialty stores across the country.

Even back then, the American work style was dressy.
Prosperity leads to rationality and industrialism, and there is craftsmanship that is both delicate and extravagant.
Barnstormer's theme is to recreate the lifestyle of America at that time, when being ordinary was cool and basic was stylish.

That strong desire gradually turned into conviction, and before we knew it, specialty stores from the United States were coming to purchase our products.

The world has changed a little, but my feelings haven't changed at all.
Barnstormer brings back the America of that time in Japan.
